Every year, a noticeable increase with regard to the number of car accidents occurs in the United States. In 2002, 6, 316 0000 incidents of car accidents were recorded. At the end of 2005, the number of incidents increased to 6,420,000.

In addition, data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) showed that in the country, a car accident happens every 10 seconds.

Aside from the financial burden people experience when involved in such accidents, the more serious problems they face are the injuries that they receive and sometimes, the death of their loved ones.
